About the Instructor
Brad Shelton, a Dallas native currently residing in Rowlett, Texas, is certified with a Class 01 Federal Firearms License. He was raised by a Dallas Police Officer and has been within arms reach of a firearm for as long as he can remember. Gun safety was instilled in Brad at a very young age which instilled in him a strong respect for firearms, the law, and our constitution.Note From Brad
I am happily married to my beautiful wife since 1984, we have 4 sons, 3 daughter-in-laws, and 2 awesome grandchildren!
We are currently an Army family with two sons proudly serving, one in 327th No Slack Battalion, Ft. Campbell, KY., the other in the Army Special Forces 7th Group at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
My goal as an Instructor is to help you become a safe, responsible, knowledgeable, and confident Concealed Handgun Licensee.
Why do I do this? My sons and I have a dream of owning a Target Range / Firearms Store / Training Facility . I promised them I would get my licensing and begin laying a foundation for our dream. The CHL classes are one aspect of that promise and our NEW STORE Shelton Arms (a licensed firearms business) is another, along with a newly introduced Discount Gun Club. Our goal is for all 4 sons to become involved and enjoy a family owned business serving the community with honor and integrity.
